How can we improve an e-commerce website’s user experience while incorporating a brand’s unique personality?
As Hippo Blue’s stories take you into different worlds, we wanted to portray that adventure through the website experience. We approached the website design as if designing a game through the imagination of a child, and created a user experience that is engaging, playful and simple. We created an easy to navigate user interface through the use of effective colour contrast and clear call-to-action buttons, as well as making the site less cluttered and simplifying the personalisation process, which reduced their overall bounce rate and increased conversions significantly.
